In this episode of the podcast, we review the recent Compleat Angler Nedlands sponsored round of the 2023 boat series. Team Blake, consisting of Blake Coomber and Blake Liddelow, emerged victorious on the Swan River in Perth. Despite falling short of a limit, the pair managed to bring back a total weight of 2.290kg, with their big bream weighing in at an impressive 1.280kg. Join us as we explore their winning strategy and the challenges they faced throughout the day.   We also highlight the impressive performance of Michael Sammut and Dave Bennett from team Luzzu, who narrowly missed out on the top spot due to a countback. Despite a slow start and managing only 5 fish in total, their perseverance paid off. We discuss their tactics and the baits they used to entice the fish, including bloodworm and motor oil Zman Slimswims.   Taking third place was Absolutely Crabulous, represented by Travis Newland and Josh Phillips. Starting on untouched ground near the launch, they quickly secured a bag of fish before moving around the Maylands area. We delve into their strategic decisions and the gradual success they experienced throughout the day.   Lastly, we acknowledge the support of Compleat Angler Nedlands, who sponsored the Big Bream for the event.
